Weekend Mail Wrap Up 3/31/12

It's time for another edition of "Weekend Mail Wrap-Up" where I feature what goodies were inside my mail box this week.

I had a blog giveaway prize of the book Mouse in the House by Uncle Dave Howard.  I bought my mother one of his books for Christmas since she's a Facebook friend of his, and I will be reviewing both books soon on my blog.

My prize of fitness gear arrived this week.  I had originally won 10 yoga lessons, but because I live in a rural area, I asked if I could have something else.  I was told to make a list of items I might like and I would be ordered up to $150 of fitness and health related items from Amazon.

What I received:

Items included in it were:

DVDS:

Pilates Bodyband Challenge
Jillian Michaels - 30 Day Shred
X-TrainFit At Home Workout - Women's Complete Fitness - 8 DVDs
Richard Simmons: 80's Blast-Off
The Biggest Loser: The Workout - Boot Camp
Element: Pilates Weight Loss for Beginners
The Firm: Ignite Calorie Burn

Books:

Hungry Girl Supermarket Survival
Winning the Food Fight by Steve Willis

Other:

Reebok Women's Princess Aerobics Shoes
j/fit Neoprene Grip 5 pound weight

The funny this is, they ordered one and only one weight, not two!  So I ordered the second one myself.  :)  I don't want to have one arm that looks like Popeye and one that looks like Olive Oil! :)  It was a fun mail week, and fun to see what items were chosen for me for my prize.  I'm really enjoying both books and will review "Winning the Food Fight" soon.

  3. I'm really happy about the fitness prizes. My doctor said I need to lose weight,so this is great timing! :) I figure they didn't realize the weights were sold individually, so I think that's what happened! :) It makes for a funny story.

Holly, I say you have to enter to win. I spend a lot of time each day entering giveaways. Maybe it's time I do another post about finding giveaways and entering and winning. :)
